The search

The brief was that Quality needs a voice, and a real seat at the table. Influential leadership paramount is in this role due to matrix organisation, superior stakeholder management dealing with internal and external stakeholders, and being the voice of quality externally for the firm.

Melium Consulting invests heavily to ascertain the foundations for success, with a clear understanding of the AS-IS and TO-BE states. From our initial consultation it was clear we needed to probe the following areas;

 Shortlist delivery of six candidates within the agreed timeframe accompanied by a detailed search report and SWOT analysis for each prospect against technical and behavioural competency matrix

Result

The result came from the least expected industry/company. We thrive from creating lightbulb moments by showing our clients options outside of the box. Melium Consulting successfully identified and attracted a VP of Global Quality in line with the initial candidate profile and mutually agreed competencies,

The individual is the high-hand man for the CSCO, frequently interacting with other board members and the CEO to share the future strategy for Quality across the organisation within is growing substantially by acquisition and green field sites.
